January, 2009
Every week Dan Berger, a highly respected US wine writer publishes his “Vintage Experiences”. In January, Dan Berger especially recommended the 2007 Espíritu de Chile Gewurztraminer as his “Bargain of the Week”.
“Wild spice, rose petal, and grapefruit aroma; slight residual sugar in the entry, but lovely finish with good acid for pairing with Asian foods”, Berger wrote in his weekly four-page wine commentary.
The excellent rating further enhances Espíritu de Chile’s positioning as a premium Chilean wine range of excellent quality at an outstanding price/quality ratio.
Dan Berger has been a wine columnist since 1976 and has resided in Sonoma County since 1986. Today, in addition to his weekly wine commentary, he writes a nationally syndicated wine column for Creators Syndicate as well as articles for Decanter, Robb Report, Cheers, Beverage Dynamics, and numerous other publications.
