ESPIRITU DE CHILE is proud to announce further acknowledgement at the biggest international wine competition held in France, where Espíritu Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon was honoured with the Gold Medal.
The Challenge International du Vin represents the biggest French wine competition on international level. With almost 30 years of existence the challenge is the oldest international competition in France. Each year more than 30 countries are represented and roughly 5,000 samples tasted. The competition is not solely focusing on wine but rather includes all types of wine products: red, white, rosé, sparkling, sweet, dessert wines, wine-based spirits, etc.
The Gold Medal received for ESPIRITU DE CHILE Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon adds further acknowledgement for the brands quality level. The wine convinced the jury with its ruby red colour and its spicy fruit bouquet which leads to a silky smooth and ripe black currant and elderberry fruit with elegant hints of vanilla.
Additionally Espíritu de Chile Gran Reserva Carmčnere and the ESPIRITU DE CHILE Classic Gewürztraminer were judged with bronze.
These awards add to an already long list of international honours received from international unbiased juries. Since ESPIRITU DE CHILE’s market introduction the brand has been following large consumer acceptance and fast growth.
