Once again ESPIRITU DE CHILE was able to impress the unbiased jury of an international wine competition. At the Premium Select Wine Challenge 2007 organised by the highly renowned German wine magazine Selection two wines of the Gran Reserva range were honoured with three stars, i.e. silver.

 

ESPIRITU DE CHILE Gran Reserva Merlot impressed the jury with its pleasant and rich fruit and well-balanced tannins. This wine harmoniously combines delicate aromas of vanilla with hints of black berry, chocolate and mint.

 

Also rated with three stars was ESPIRITU DE CHILE Cabernet Sauvignon. This powerful, dark red wine convinced with its complex aromas of blackcurrants, elderberries and vanilla which are supported by an elegant note of wood aging.

 

Together with a delightful Sauvignon Blanc, both awarded noble wines of the Gran Reserva range form the pinnacle of the Espíritu de Chile portfolio. These wines were carefully selected, nurtured and aged in the finest oak barrels with full attention to the highest standards of quality. Espíritu de Chile has chosen these wines to satisfy the most discerning palates of connoisseurs and wine lovers everywhere.

 

The results will be published in the March issue of the magazine, which will also be handed out at the Prowein fair.
