Focused on Innovations

Espíritu de Chile attended the London International Wine Fair (LIWF) and successfully presented its new and exciting innovations to the British and international trade. The Team introduced the new ESPIRITU DE ARGENTINA range and ESPIRITU ORGANICO, which is produced following controlled and certified ecological wine growing.

“In 2007, Chile became Britain’s sixth largest supplier of wines according to AC Nielsen, and Chilean wine sales to the UK climbed 25%. This is the highest increase by any single country”, underlined Managing Director Ernesto Muller, “and Espíritu de Chile is going to take part in this great success story.”

UK Distributor Thierry’s Wine Services is also convinced that the quality and style of Espíritu de Chile will perfectly match the needs of the British market. Especially the elegant Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé with its lovely pink colour and its intense fruit aromas attracted much attention during the three days of the fair.

A particular highlight at the LIWF was the launch of Espíritu de Argentina. The new wine range is being produced in co-operation with the Monte Real winery, which counts among the top wine producers in Argentina. With the attendance of Chief Winemaker Luis Villareal and Export Manager Miguel Abdala, Espíritu de Argentina was perfectly presented.

Two years after its launch, Espíritu de Chile shows impressive international success: nearly 400.000 cases of the new Chilean wine range have been sold worldwide.
