Harpers Supplement Chile Wine

ESPIRITU DE CHILE German wine distributor Racke and Chilean winery Aresti have teamed up to launch ESPIRITU DE CHILE.

The new range starts with four varietal wines at £ 4.99: a Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Carmenère. a premium range is also being developed. The brand is being simultaneously launched in 12 countries.

Ernesto Müller, managing director of the new venture, commented: ‘We unveiled ESPIRITU DE CHILE last month at Prowein and the response surpassed all our expectations. Chile represents such a fantastic opportunity, but it needs more well-marketed wines – we firmly believe that this new venture will help enhance Chile’s international reputation.’
